breakdance名称的解释

why breakdance is called breakdance? first...do you guys know the term "break" mean? I think "Break" is DJ term for the part of the song that just have drum beat and a few music; most importantly, break doesn't have vocal at all. usually, breaks just last about 1 munite...and people usually thing "oh, man...that was a awesome break, but it's so short, we wanna hear some more." as Grand Wizard Theodore said:"that's why DJ came along." actually, when those b-boy were dancing with the DJ, the DJ was playing the break inside the album by playing two records, and made the break last longer and longer, so the b-boy can get crazier and crazier. so...b-boy is dancing with the break...and then the dance is called break dance

总结一下上文的大概意思是:在早期dj放音乐的时候会有一个断裂(break)的时候在这个时候音乐会进入小规模的循环(loop),而在这个break的时候b-boy开始show,所以b-boy跳的舞称为breakdance...

那其实照这个说法,所有在群众开始围观,舞者个人展示的舞都可以称为breakdance.只是因为oldschool时期break时刻大多数为地板动作,所以流传至今breakdance只限于b-boy的舞..

原来是个历史原因.因为流传广泛.也不纠正了..
