北京时间6月14日，勇士球员德雷蒙德-格林在个人的播客节目中谈到了在总决赛表现出色的霍勒迪以及雄鹿用霍勒迪换利拉德的交易，他表示雄鹿本该尝试让利拉德和霍勒迪搭档。

格林说道：“雄鹿无论如何都应该找到不送霍勒迪也能得到利拉德的办法，因为霍勒迪有着很大的换防价值，他能防守比自己高大的对位人，这种特质和利拉德很适配。

找到其他交易方案本来应该很简单，因为交易的对方开拓者并不需要霍勒迪这样一位实力老将，送出其他交易筹码开拓者很可能也会接受。”
